Profile:	AHA is an independent, non-governmental organization founded in 1994 to provide emergency and development health services, disaster management and relief assistance, rehabilitation and reintegration during post conflict recovery in Africa. Strengthening the capacity of Civil Society in general and local organizations in particular is one of the main objectives of AHA. It has gained recognition through its various interventions as a professional organization of international standing. AHA provides emergency and rehabilitation health services to refugees, displaced persons, returnees and local communities. Its response comprises preventive and community-based health care, promotion and advocacy services, and the rehabilitation of local capacity and structures. AHA works through its country offices and partners in Angola, Congo (DR), Ethiopia, Liberia, Namibia among others.
Activities:	Relief and Rehabilitation, Reintegration and Health Care, Meeting the needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria, Building the Capacity and Resources of Africans, etc.
CSPP Activities:	AHA is working with the CSPP to develop an improved knowledge management system.
