The Civil Society Partnerships Programme Community is expanding, below are details of additional organisations with which the programme is starting to work.

Cambodian Development Research Institute (CDRI), Cambodia
CDRI is a think tank working in partnership with Cambodian public institutions and civil society, and their regional and international development partners. It is involved in capacity development and services in research and advocacy for Cambodian CSOs. Their website is a source of independent information on social and economic development in Cambodia. Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP), Zambia
CCJP is a think tank involved in national budget advocacy and research in Zambia. It provides research support to CSOs, as well as undertaking commissioned work for international organisations, and has carried out research and advocacy work on Debt, PRSP and HIPIC issues. CCJP also provides training and other services for capacity development in research and advocacy of CSOs in Zambia. Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR), Zambia
CSPR is a civil society network involved in the fight against poverty in Zambia. Established in 2000, the overall objective of CSPR is to ensure that civil society effectively and meaningfully participates in the design, formulation and implementation of the Poverty Reduction and Strategy Paper (PRSP). CSPP and CSPR collaborated in organising the GBS workshop in Zambia in September 2006 and the network is a member of CSPP network. Community Development Resource Network, Uganda
Based in Kampala, Uganda, CDRN is a Network/NGO which provides training, research and advocacy services to build the capacities of small NGO and CBOs involved in community development work in Uganda. It emphasises working with organisations that cannot always bear the costs of services provided. Development Research and Training, Uganda
DRT is a Ugandan NGO that undertakes policy research and analysis. It promotes institutional capacity building of CSOs, micro and macro analysis and also promotes advocacy on a wide range of social, political and economic policy issues in Uganda. DRT also provides capacity development support and services on research and advocacy for Ugandan CSOs. It is a member of the CSPP network and a partner in some of ODI's other research networks (i.e. Chronic Poverty Research Centre, Forum for Future of Aid). For more information see http://drt-ug.org/

Institute for Policy Interaction, Malawi
IPI is an up and coming think tank in Malawi. It carries out blue sky research as well as commissioned work for NGOs and donors. IPI has few staff, therefore advocacy and communication capacity is limited. Rafiq Hajat, the executive Director can be reached at ipi@africa-online.net.

Research on Poverty Alleviation (REPOA), Tanzania
REPOA is a NGO concerned with matters relating to poverty and pro-poor growth in Tanzania. It undertakes and facilitates research, conducts and coordinates training, provides services to development stakeholders and promotes dialogues on policy for pro-poor growth and poverty reduction in Tanzania. REPOA participated in various activities organised by CSPP in Tanzania (the last being the workshop for developing an EBP manual for East Africa). For more information see www.repoa.or.tz.

The SMERU Research Institute, Indonesia
SMERU is an independent institution for research and public policy studies which provides information and objective analysis on various socioeconomic and poverty issues in Indonesia. The institute's research highlights the impact of government programmes and policies, and it has actively published and reported its research findings. SMERU is a CSPP Network member.
