Addressing Inequalities: Policies for Inclusive Development, 11-12 July 2005
The first international conference of the Inter-Regional Inequality Facility was
hosted by the Economic and Social Policy Division (ESPD) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)
in Addis Ababa on 11-12 July 2005. It brought together researchers and policy-makers from governments and research
institutions in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with the aim of sharing evidence
and experiences both on which policies are desirable and how to bring about policy change.
