  • Our work on environmental change and uncertainty has a particular focus on the links between climate-water science and water policy, adaptation planning and risk management, and international financing issues in the context of climate change.

We are developing a new programme of work with water scientists from the British Geological Survey, focusing initially on the impacts of climate change on groundwater resources and services in sub-Saharan Africa. We are also looking at what adaptation means for policy, programmes and projects, and whether new financing arrangements are fit for purpose.
