Publication - Research reports and studies - 30 June 2011
Alina Rocha Menocal and Ken Sigrist
This case study on Liberia attempts to map and assess the policy system in Liberia today, taking into account how it has evolved over time. Grounded on a political-economy approach, it also seeks to provide a better understanding of the incentives and disincentives for reform and capacity building in the centre of government in Liberia, and draws some lessons and recommendations for donors. The study is based on field work carried out in Liberia in November 2010 over the course of one week to interview key country-based stakeholders, as well as telephone interviews with other stakeholders.
