    Re-examining public financial management reforms: new frameworks and country evidence

    This round-table brought together leading researchers on public financial management (PFM) to examine and debate evidence on budget reforms in low-income African countries. The round-table addressed frameworks for approaching and analysing PFM reforms, pre-conditions and political economy factors, prioritisation and phasing, and sustainability.

    The gender audits of the UNICEF Burkina Faso and Mali country offices, on behalf of the UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office (WCARO), analyze the extent to which gender analysis techniques and rights considerations are mainstreamed and operationalized in UNICEF’s policies, programming, and organization.  It also assesses staff capacity to mainstream gender, and the degree to which staff are held accountable for mainstreaming gender into programmes and improving development outcomes through use of gender analysis, particularly for girls and women.

  7. Support to the IATI Technical Advisory Group

    The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) aims to deliver a step shift in public availability and accessibility of information on aid flows, globally. Launched during the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Accra in September 2008, to date it has 17 signatories and strong interest from partner countries and civil society organisations (CSOs).
