    For the last year he has been part of the HPG’s Global History of Humanitarian Action team and has a particular interest in making the history of humanitarian action more accessible to humanitarian workers.

    Clare is the Communications Officer for the Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG). Before joining HPG, Clare held communications positions with the Australian agency for international development (AusAID) in Indonesia and The World Bank in Mongolia.

    Veronique is a political scientist by training with a particular interest in humanitarian negotiations with armed non-state actors, protection, gender-based violence and resilience. Prior to joining HPG, she worked in the Policy Division at the World Food Programme.

    Adele is a Humanitarian Policy Group Research Associate based in Kampala, Uganda and a partner with Humanitarian Outcomes. Her work has focused on humanitarian financing and institutional reform, and security of aid operations. She has previously worked for the Australian Government’s international aid agency (AusAID) and with the Australian Defence Force as a civilian peace monitor.

She has substantial emergency and humanitarian program and policy experience, including work in disaster, conflict and post-conflict situations including Afghanistan and Southeast Asia. Her current research focuses on humanitarian principles and negotiations.
