The Community Development Resource Association (CDRA) was established in 1987 in Cape Town, South Africa, as an African, non-profit, non-governmental organisation. CDRA works to build the capacity of organisations and individuals engaged in development and social transformation. It operates mostly in Southern and East Africa, with occasional work in South America, Asia and Europe.
