This section provides various papers and other resources generated as part of this project on the use of cash-based responses in emergencies. All documents are intended to provide insights and summarise learning into cash based responses.
This is an initial step in bringing together the growing of body of practice around cash based responses, but it is not exhaustive. It gives a broad range of examples of cash-and voucher-based responses and the documents they have generated, so that humanitarian practitioners and policy makers considering the use of cash in relief can learn from these past experiences. Other useful resources include the Swiss Development Cooperation and the UNDP International Poverty Centre sites on cash.
HPG encourages agencies, researchers and consultants with resources relevant to the subject to submit materials to this site by clicking here.
