Our work on secure water and sanitation focuses on hard to reach areas and groups (both urban and rural), issues around the sustainable management and financing of water and sanitation services, the role water plays in strengthening livelihoods and increasing climate resilience, and links with agriculture and food security. The programme is also looking at the post-2015 MDG framework on water and sanitation and sanitation, and has recently completed work on aid effectiveness benchmarking for the sector.
