Nat Mason is a research officer in the Water Policy Programme. His interests fall under a broad heading of water security, ranging from implications for local livelihoods to questions of planetary boundaries. He has previously worked for WaterAid and on an extended consultancy for the World Bank Water and Sanitation Program.

Naomi Oates
Naomi Oates is a Research Officer on ODI's Water Policy Programme. Her research focuses on the socio-economic and institutional dimensions of: climate change vulnerability and resilience, water security, natural resources management, and water supply and sanitation (WASH).
Naomi has a background in environment and international development. Previously she has worked for SOS Sahel International UK and at ODI on the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN). Naomi holds an MSc in Climate Change and International Development from the University of East Anglia (UK) and a BSc in Natural Sciences from Durham University (UK).

Josephine Tucker is a Research Fellow in ODI’s Water Policy Programme, working on pro-poor service delivery (urban and rural) and water for livelihoods, food security and climate change adaptation.

As a Research Associate, Peter Newborne is a part-time (self-employed) member of the ODI water team, carrying out research studies, programme evaluations and advisory assignments on water policy and environmental/social sustainability.
