RAPID’s research on communication, knowledge management and research uptake underpins our capacity development activities on these issues and vice versa. More recently, we have incorporated lessons learnt from complexity science and the political economy of research uptake. The strong feedback loops that link our research, learning and capacity development work help to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the programme. Our capacity development workshops focus on both supply and demand sides ‘of evidence creation’.
RAPID runs workshops training researchers to be policy entrepreneurs by using RAPID tools such as the RAPID Outcome Mapping Approach and our approaches to research communications, monitoring and evaluation and impact evaluation.
