We assess and advise on government policy and regulatory frameworks that promote private-sector investment and innovation in support of sustainable and inclusive growth patterns.
Working with business to promote development
The development community is increasingly recognising the importance of working with the private sector. At the same time, the business community is increasingly interested in understanding, measuring, reporting and leveraging its development impact. Our research in this area brings together these two contrasting but complementary mindsets.
Supporting private-sector development
How can donors and governments support private sector development? Should donors 'mainstream' private sector involvement across all of their activities? If so, how?
