ODI's Liesbet Steer discusses the grounds for optimism across the continent for VoxAfrica News. Dr Steer has led collation of ODI's Development Progress Stories which document effective development interventions across Africa and beyond in recent decades. She appeared alongside the World Bank's Punam Chuhan-Pole at an ODI event earlier in the day.
