Submitting Material to the Agricultural Research and Extension Network
Members are encouraged to submit material within the broad thematic areas of agricultural research and extension for publication in the Network Paper series. Contributions for the newsletter, particularly short
notes on recent experiences, or comments on earlier Network
Papers are also welcome. Editorial responsibility rests with the ODI. Material submitted by members will be considered for publication on the understanding that it has not been submitted elsewhere. Material published in the Network may, with acknowledgement to ODI, subsequently be published
elsewhere.
The text should be 1.5 line spaced, with ample margins. Endnotes, rather than footnotes, should be used. These should be numbered consecutively as superscripts in the text. References follow the following format: An abstract of approximately 500-700 words should be supplied. Acknowledgements and, where relevant, a brief preface may be included. A glossary of acronyms should be provided. Maps and diagrams should be originals or good quality photocopies. Papers should be submitted both in hard copy and on (preferably) 31/2" disk, or by email in one of the widely-used word processing packages. FULL details of the type and version of the package must be given. ODI uses Word 6.0/7.0, Wordperfect 6.1-8 and Quattro Pro for Windows. Papers should be submitted to:
