ODI at development events

This conference will bring together researchers with an interest in the use of evidence in policy making and decision makers from policy making institutions. Ajoy Datta will give a presentation on understanding the incentives of policymakers before developing capacity development programmes for them to better use research in their decision making.

 The conference aimed at boosting understanding of the development of civil society in Jordan, to chart out future direction of both policy and research, to disseminate knowledge off, and about civil society to all concerned and to increase interaction between civil society organisations and research institutes. Ajoy Datta delivered a presentation on the linkages between knowledge, politics and power.
