A joint event between UNF and ODI, this conference will bring together some of the key individuals and institutions working on the post-2015 agenda, drawing on some of the best evidence around how progress is made and the role new global goals could play in shaping that progress.
The European Development Cooperation Strengthening Programme (EDCSP) host the EU Change-makers at the ODI on 24 and 25 June 2013 for a conference on EU development cooperation.
The conference brought together humanitarians, diplomats, soldiers, experts, journalists and others for a frank discussion about these issues affecting the protection of civilians and produced some recommendations for the future.
The Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG), in partnership with the Arab Thought Forum (ATF), is holding a conference looking at past responses to humanitarian crises in the Middle East and North Africa to see how history can influence the forms and practice of humanitarianism today.

On 7-8 February 2013, the Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark will hold a conference on urban displacement. The event will bring together development specialists (donors, policy-makers, academics and practitioners) and humanitarian professionals to explore new approaches to addressing the plight of the urban displaced.

A major conference about the history of humanitarianism in East and Southeast Asia will take place at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies on 29-30 January 2013. It will bring together diplomats, ministers, senior figures from the humanitarian sector and academics to explore a range of historical aspects of Asian humanitarianism.

From the rise of China and Brazil to game changing models of global philanthropy, person-to-person giving and social impact investment, the community of actors engaged in development cooperation is evolving. While the geography of poverty is changing so too are the tools available for targeting assistance. The 2012 CAPE Conference will explore how fundamental global shifts will shape the future of development cooperation.
The event brought together politicians and government officials from several countries with senior researchers and policy makers to examine the progress of public financial management reforms and the challenges that remain.
