The future of think tank communications

26 April 2013 10:30 - 12:30 (GMT+01 (BST))
Venue:
Overseas Development Institute
Details

How can think tanks adapt to an ever changing communications environment? How do we ensure that ideas continue to cut through despite stiff competition and scarce resources? This Social Market Foundation event hosted by ODI offers you a chance to share ideas and discuss how think tanks can develop and strengthen our output to adapt to an increasingly digital future.

This event will include contributions from the panel on: the past, present and future of think tank communications; developing an award-winning digital strategy; and delivering digital communications beyond Westminster. This will be followed by a question and answer session and audience discussion on the future of think tank communications.

The event is aimed at communications and research staff at think tanks, research institutes and charities with a policy focus. It is a rare opportunity to meet colleagues (and rivals!) from other think tanks, share ideas and discuss how think tanks can develop and strengthen our output to adapt to an increasingly digital future.

Places are limited and registration is strictly necessary. Please email lmerry@smf.co.uk to reserve your place now or should you wish to watch the livestream of the event click the register tab on the right hand side of this page. For further information visit the Social Market Foundation website.
