Rebecca joined ODI in January 2012 as a Research Officer after more than six years of development work experience in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Uganda. Prior to joining ODI she worked as an economist for the International Growth Centre in Sierra Leone focusing on private sector development and export promotion. Between 2007 and 2010 she worked for the World Bank in Liberia and Uganda on economic management and public sector reform issues, including extensive work on budget support operations. She has also previously worked as a grants manager for the International Rescue Committee, an NGO focusing on humanitarian crises and post-conflict recovery.

Rebecca has an MSc in Economic History from LSE and a BA in History from Princeton University.

Unblocking results: can aid get public services flowing?

This event will explore the findings and policy implications of the latest ODI research on how aid can be best packaged to support governance and institutional development. The research draws on case studies in Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Uganda.
