Project Officer, Climate and Environment
Amy is a Project
Officer for the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN). CDKN is
managed by a consortium of partners, including ODI, and funds research, technical
assistance and knowledge management to support decision makers in developing
countries to design and deliver climate compatible development. Amy manages a
portfolio of CDKN’s research projects, mostly focussed on Asia, and coordinates
CDKN’s programme of work on climate-related disaster risk management.
Amy holds an MSc in Disasters, Adaptation and Development from King's College London, and a BSc in Geography from the University of Sheffield. Prior to ODI, Amy worked for the IFRC to explore how vulnerability and capacity assessments can incorporate climate change risks, and has previously worked with the Red Cross/ Red Crescent Climate Centre in Caribbean and with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre in Bangkok. She has research interests in climate compatible development and disaster risk management.
