SDP Policy and Institutional Reform Strategy: Recommendations for action

This report is a result of a one and a half day project retreat at Lake Elementaita Lodge, designed to guide the Smallholder Dairy Project (SDP) team in developing a clear plan of action, and building on the advocacy outline and framework of engagement in policy processes. The recommendations are based on the five elements of an advocacy strategy as discussed during the workshop: (i) objectives; (ii) stakeholders; (iii) diagnosis; (iv) action plan; and (v) evaluation. This is the first document which clearly defines the SDP strategy to influence policy.
