UK Country Footprints - Policy
coherence for development
The aim of this project has been to help DFID to think through
the issue of policy coherence for development at a country-level,
by examining the UK's 'footprint' in a range of developing countries.
The countries included in the study have been Bangladesh, China,
Jamaica, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan and Tanzania.
The project as a whole has been led and managed by Oxford
Policy Management.
As well as throwing some light on issues of policy coherence for
development in particular countries, the project has also revealed
the methodological challenges inherent in assessing 'country footprints'
and policy coherence for development.
