Kent Buse
Kent Buse is a political economist with expertise in health policy analysis. Kent supports clients to manage the political dimensions of policy change. He has worked and consulted for a range of organizations including the World Bank, UNAIDS, UNICEF, DFID, WHO as well as for national governments and major public-private health partnerships - at headquarters and field levels. He holds a PhD in policy analysis and an MSc (econ) in health policy, planning and financing.
Kent has recently advised on strengthening the governance of public-private partnerships, managing the political dimensions of health reform in Bangladesh, and improving alignment and harmonization of international support for HIV/AIDS. He has taught at Yale University and at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His most recent book is Making Health Policy.
