Introduction to training material on Evaluation of Humanitarian ActionALNAP first developed training modules in 2001 as a way of sharing knowledge and good practice identified through its research activities. The modules were updated in 2003. The material has been further updated in collaboration with Channel Research for a course organised by the latter in January 2007 and can be downloaded below. The material is available to all as a free good, to aid those providing courses on Evaluation of Humanitarian Action. The materials are not a definitive set of ideas: you may want to add additional training materials or activities, and introduce your own organisation's policies, procedures and models. It may be possible for the ALNAP Secretariat to put you in touch with a facilitator to teach your course. All contractual arrangements between your organisation and the facilitator are your own responsibility.
